We have had an absolutely massive weekend touring Shanghai, going to many of the famous tourist spots. One of the most amazing was in 'Old Town' where we went to the bridge of 9 bends (because it has 9 bends I guess). There were loads of tourists there and tons of cheap clothes and souvenirs. Kamila was nearly robbed by a pickpocket who managed to open her backpack, but he didn't get anything.
We went to City Hall where they had scale models of Shanghai (Josh Burton from TVCS would love it). Lauren had a great time with her friend Tara-Lynn who she chased all over the building. Here they are in front of the Expo sign.
The lunch was also incredible because of the fantastic buffet and the amazing view of the river. The school paid for everything which was really unbelievable (much better than the Pullman Restaurant!).After the tour Kamila and Alana went home while Lauren and I went to the Disney Magic Show at the Shanghai Grand Stage. Unfortunately it was all in Chinese, but she didn't mind.

We also went to Nanjing Road today on the tube, which was just crazy. there are a lot of people in Shanghai!
