The Food in Shanghai has been fantastic (even for someone with an 'Irish' diet like me). We have gone to so many retaurants and have only cooked dinner at home twice because it is so inexpensive. You can however go out to Western restaurants and the food is a little more expensive, but still not too bad. The interesting thing is that the drinks are usually more expensive than the food if you eat out. So far we have been to The Blue Frog, Cafe Du Monde, Moon River, Simply Thai and quite a few Korean and Chinese Restaurants (You could probably check them out on Google). A lot of these places also have a playground, colouring in for the kids and games inside. Alana and Lauren have been getting a lot of attention because Chinese people love children (in fact one waitress picked Alana up and took her all around the restaurant to show everybody - she loved the attention). I have attached a picture of Cathy who came out to the Blue Frog with us.
